STANDARD GAUGE ROCK ISLAND LINES GONDOLA (1906 TO 1926)
| Standard gauge 12 Lake Shore gondola with gray painted body and dark green lower edges. Numbered "56784" on sides. Later version with rubber-stamped "12" and "Lionel Corporation" on base. Hardware is complete with the exception of the missing brake wheel. Type III trucks and hook couplers with ears. Car is in Good (C5) condition, with strong, sharp lettering. Has slight separation on one side. For it's age, there aren't too many nicks and scrathes! Great piece for the Lionel Pre-War collector, and/or operator. Built from 1906 until 1926. DLW. |
