2758 PENNSYLVANIA DOUBLE DOOR BOX CAR (ALL METAL) WITH HIGH COUPLER TINPLATE TRUCKS FOR 0 GAUGE CARS
| This is the original Pre-War (all metal) versionGraded Very Good (C6) because although no paint is missing, there are numerous areas on the roof where the paint is rough; seems like particles are on/under the paint. Also, the "box" for one coupler is missing (although the car will still couple up using the "box" of the ajacant car!)Looks Like New but bargain priced for you at less than the value of the trucksPlease note we have found this Pre-War car with two different numbers - X2458 and X2758. X2458 was equipped with low couplers matching the shorter O27 tinplate cars, X2758 denotes cars with high (push-rod) couplers matching the 280 series (longer) O gauge tinplate cars. Both have the same built date (3/41)Box is missing all flaps on one end. Flaps were scotch-taped back on on the other by the original owner Don Shaw. DNS. |
