| This Boston and Maine Alco is extremely rare Produced in 1960 as an AB, we are happy to offer an ABA combination226 locos were only available as a part of three uncatalogued sets. Two were sets X576 and 577, distributed by Madison Hardware onlyThere is a crack in the struts under the front coupler on both A units, but they are hardly visible and nothing is missing so we graded them like new (C8) because they look brand newOne A unit is otherwise perfect; the B unit has a 1 inch rub on the roof making the paint duller; and the 2nd A unit has one small white paint spill on the roof and 1 1/4 inch rub on the sideWe have rarely seen 226's in our 44 years in business.
