| All colors on the M&SL GP9 are painted (instead of saving money by using the color of the cab for one color)All lettering and numbering is heat-stamped including "The Peoria Gateway" medallion on the sides of the cabIt is considered by many to be the hardest or rarest GP to find (especially in Like New condition) even though it has a rarity rating of 5 compared to the 2349 Northern Pacific GP with a rarity rating of 6 in the Doyle reference guides Loco has very little running time, perhaps around the tree for just one or two years, and has one 1/16th inch scratch on the short end of the roof (which will never be seen on the shelf or layout)We retained the Like New grade to properly describe the overall appearance. Includes original box which is complete DNS. |
