| This "Scout" loco has the good, repairable Lionel motor and was shipped from the factory this way, compared to most "Scouts" equipped with a non-repairable plastic encased motorguaranteed, this loco is a real scooter - and you can have more fun with it thanwith a whole barrel full of monkeys! Please note the factory equipped this loco with a 2 position eunit - has no neutral with the power on, and they saved money by not including a bulb and fixture for the headlightThe left hand side of the cowcatcher is broken off and the the lever for the E unit is depressed below the surface ot the boiler so you will need a screw driver to move it -- thess caused us to grade the locoi as very good (c6) and set a bargain price but the loco runs great and smokes like crazy DNS. |
