| Graded Like New (C8) and perfect with no excuses, we are selling this deluxe operating milk car without the platform so you can add a second or third milk car to your milk train!In the old days, the Lackawanna milk trains had 20 to 30 cars. One left Binghampton at about 6pm with two coaches and a lounge car at the end, made very few stops, and was the fastest train between Binghampton and Hoboken (across the Hudson from NYC)! The engineer had to be very careful to stop so the passenger cars (which were 30 or more cars behind the loco) were actually in the station, sometimes having to back up. Eventually they put the passenger cars right behind the engine!Comes with instruction sheet. DNS. |
