One Saturday afternoon an Erie-Lackawanna locomotive stopped at the station platform and the engineer came in and bought a locomotive. He then pulled the 100 car train forward and stopped it when the caboose was at the platform! The conductor came in, bought a train and then gave myself and several lucky store customers a tour of the real full size bay window caboose! There were several bay window cabooses in stock in the store and every one was sold that day! DNS. . |
