AMERICAN FLYER 24019 RARE SILVER METEOR SEABOARD 2401 BOX CAR FACTORY ERROR MISPRINT
| 24019 was a somewhat common car produced by American Flyer in 1958(uncataloged), and 1961(cataloged) only. Rubber-stamped "SILVER METEOR/SEABOARD 24109". Featured a tuscan painted black body with non-opening doors and knuckle coulers. Condition is excellent on this rare factory error version. The number "9" has not been stamped on the piece. The rubber-stamped lettering is basically perfect. Has the usual worn rivets, and is missing the brake wheel. This is the only example we have ever seen like this! A true collectible for the American Flyer, and or lionel collector in every sense of the word. |
