| Graded Like New, this 1946 set has the rare original and spectacular 1946 version of the 671 turbine loco without an E-unit lever sticking through the top of the loco (the E-unit is controlled by jacks in the cab)Overall a rare find!Solid construction means the contents of this set will last another 60+ yearsLocomotive shows very little signs of handling but has been run. It still has the original bulb-type smoke unit as shipped from the factoryCorrect 2466 tender, 2555 tank car and X2454 Baby Ruth box car are Like New and the rare but correct 2457 all-metal caboose has a number of black marks on the cupola roof and knicks but still looks greatAll rolling stock and tender have correct coil couplers with Lionel having shipped some sets with flying show vector board couplers before production of the coil couplersHas original boxes for everything, with all missing at least one flapAlso comes with original instruction sheet for the locoDoes not include whistle controller, track, or set box but we can provide all except the set box if you need them! |
