| This Santa Fe passenger set is exceptional for a number of reasons. Firstly, there is nothing more beautiful than a red and silver Santa Fe Warbonnet heading Lionel's original illuminated passenger cars with their magic touch adding good looks never quite duplicated! Secondly, none of the aluminum cars have a scratch or mark from careless handling in the factory and are really exceptionalThe powered unit is wonderful as well, with no scratches and has had very little run time (and, of course, is fully guaranteed)The non-powered unit is MINT, never run!We hate to say Santa Fe's are perfect because you can always find something, including the slightest discolorations in the silver, but have you seen such a nice Santa Fe 2353 lately, much less "perfect" passenger cars?!All the cars have matching glued on name platesComes with original engine boxes and repro car boxesCollect it and run it very carefully or put on the shelf!This top-of-the-line set from 1954 is difficult to find in any condition, much less Like New (C8), in that the set box was the only set box to have reversed color printing on the box (red letter printing inside blue frame compared to ALL other set boxes with blue lettered "Lionel Trains" printed inside a red frame). Unfortunately we don't have the set boxLoco instruction sheet includedPlease note we did not include track as originally shipped from Lionel, and that the set never included a transformer.
