| Two special 6342 culvert cars are included with this combined 342 and 345, as is the all-important bridge unit to connect the two (which is almost impossible to find these days!)Graded Like New and guaranteed to work perfectly, it also comes with two #97 control buttons, culverts, instruction sheets, and original boxes that are completeAlthough always sold seperately, Lionel designed the 342 culvert loader and the 345 culvert unloader to work together. A bridge section of ramp was provided to connect the ramps of the two units, allowing the culverts to roll from one unit to the other. When in operation, culverts are picked up by the 345 unloader from the special 6342 gondola and placed on the ramp. After they roll down to the 342 loader, the culverts are picked up and loaded onto the carGraded Like New (C8), both the 342 and 345 work perfectlyBe sure to loosen the screw holding the counterweight before operatingYou will need this to handle all the culverts required under the new infrastructure program!Reference book values have ranged up to $900 for the combined units without cars. |
