| Mint condition (C10), absolutely beautiful with a perfect boxThis is the purple version of the Boston and Maine box carIt has type 4 body mold (second and third columns of rivets to the left of the door have three rivets at the top and two at the bottom, and three full colums of rivets on the right side of the doorThe interior of the roof is ribbedTHERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF THE B&M BOX CAR WITH THIS BODY MOLD PER DOYLE, He designates type 4 as a car without a built date, and type 5 as having a heat stamped "BLT 2-57 BY LIONEL" and painted purple/b> this is the 1965 version with AAR trucksBox is complete except for one inside flap - we taped all remaining seams to prevent any further loss from this extremely rare boxMost of the 1964 version (with AAR plastic trucks) never had a box, being part of set 12800 which did not have individual boxes for the loco or carsThis is one of the lucky few cars shipped in it's own box - we have never seen this box before!
